Welcome to Joshira
What Joshira is, who it helps, and the simplest path to get productive.
Joshira is practice software for litigation teams. It keeps clients, cases, hearings, documents, and updates in one shared place so your desk is not spread across WhatsApp, email, and sticky notes.
You do not need to be technical to use it. If you can open email and fill a form, you can follow these guides.
Who this helps
| Role | What you will mainly do |
|---|---|
| Advocate / partner | Open matters, track hearings, review AI drafts |
| Associate | Update case status, upload filings, prepare for listings |
| Clerk / office staff | Schedule hearings, keep files tidy, send portal updates |
| Client (via portal) | See shared dates and documents you choose to share |
What Joshira is (in plain words)
Think of Joshira as a shared desk for each matter:
- You create a client (the person or company you represent).
- You open a case (the matter) linked to that client.
- You add hearings, documents, and notes as the matter moves.
- Optionally, you invite the client to a portal so they see only what you share.
Everything stays attached to the case, so anyone on the team can find it later.
Suggested path for new teams
Follow this order in your first week. You can skip ahead later when you already know the product.
- Create your workspace and invite one or two colleagues.
- Add a client and open one real (or sample) case.
- Schedule a hearing and write a short prep note.
- Upload one document to that case.
- If useful, invite the client to the portal for that matter only.
How to use these docs
- Use the left sidebar to jump by topic.
- Use On this page on the right to jump within a long guide.
- Use Previous / Next at the bottom to read in order.
